There are many reasons why someone embraces to Islam, including falling in love with Islam through the messages in the verses of Al-Quran, hadiths and the way of life. Some also convert to Islam as they want to marry a Muslim man or woman. However, Islam still accepts a person regardless of their motivation, what is important is to do it consciously, willingly and without coercion, then the conversion to Islam is valid. But, life as a new convert is not easy. Therefore, continuous guidance is very important to ensure that faith can be strengthened and the teachings of Islam can be truly internalised.

Among the main challenges faced by new converts is adapting to Islamic practices and lifestyles. The process of learning and change usually occurs in stages and requires time, patience, guidance and ongoing support so that new converts can embrace Islam with confidence, calmness and consistency.

The role of the community is also vital by being open, caring, sharing knowledge and involving new converts in any religious and community activities.
